Abstract University system as a complex organization could have variety approaches to its management. Differentiating professionalism with managerialism is an important theoretical subject in university management. Managerialism in university system with such doctrines as market - like behaviors, rationality, economical performance, globalization and institutional competition supply new practical mechanisms to solve higher educational problems. Institutional learning, good governance and leadership are three strategic contingents that if to be considered in the process of changing university management model and design of higher educational strategy will result efficient managerialist models.

Abstract Knowledge culture as one of the most important factors affecting on knowledge management, describes values and beliefs about creating, sharing and implementing knowledge. It plays a basic role in successfulness of knowledge management. Hence, assessing knowledge culture, creating and reinforcing of relevant values and activities to knowledge management is very important. In this research, following an extensive review of literature of knowledge management, dimension of knowledge culture categorized in three general areas of creating, sharing and implementing as well as criteria of: personal beliefs, commitment, knowledge sharing as a source of power, freedom of action v.s. control, and senior management support. Based on these criteria an instrument for assessing knowledge culture was composed and used for measurement and comparison of knowledge culture in three organizations. According to the results, concluding remarks for enhancing dimension of knowledge culture were made at the end.

Abstract In the competitive world of today, which is marked by uncertainty, people behavior towards risk is a success factor in decision - making. The present paper has investigated the effect of the extent of risk - taking by managing directors on financial performance of the companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange. The managing directors' extent of risk - taking was measured by using the standard questionnaire designed by Likert Scale. In order to measure the said companies' financial performance, these indicators were used: Return on Assets, Return on Stockholders Equity, Sale Growth & Net Profit Growth. Given that attitude towards risk vary in profit and loss situations, the relation between the extent of risk - taking and each of the financial indicators was studied separately in either situation. Results of the study only indicate a significant direct relation between a managing director's extent of risk - taking and Return on Assets in profit situations. Regarding the relation between the managing directors' personal characteristics and their extent of risk• taking as byproducts of the research, there is only a significant direct relation between the managing directors' risk - taking extent and their age and managerial experience in loss situations.

Abstract Many organizations have paid attention on Total Quality Management, (TQM) implementation. This research tries to examine whether TQT\t1 system in Mash - had Municipality could be applied? the most famous categories of strategic alliances will be reviewed and two new categories will be discussed based on the aspects of reengineering, restructuring, accounting and economy indices. At the end of this article, transaction cost theory, resource based view and De Novo Perspective as motivators of implementing strategic alliances will be reviewed and concluded.

Abstract In this paper, we explain a Technology model based on analyzability and variety and its application in human resource management; then 4 human resource management used to different models to planning, maintains, compensation and In doing so, in the earlier stage of study, six independent variables including senior management commitment, responsibility and service orientation, personnel training and participating, applying date information and tangible and physical factors to achieve goals were selected and studied. After introducing research questions and hypothese, theoretical literature compiled.
