Abstract One of the most important problems that managers face, is supplying, allocating and using the limited resources to achieve the best performance. Managers of urban transporting systems face such problems too. These systems not only should increase their incomes but also should satisfy the customers and gain the required social esteem. This article presents a simulation model of a bus line queuing system in order to study and improve it's performance. By this model one can imitate the behavior of this system and provide a decision support system for it and similar systems. Such models can analyze the impact of changes in main variables on the performance of system. The model developed through identifying performance criteria of system, stochastic and deterministic variables and determining main Events that impact these criteria and variables. Greatest average waiting time of each customer, Greatest average queue length in each bus station and Greatest average idle time of each bus are the performance criteria of a bus line queuing system should be assessed
